Kesariya Lassi (Saffron - Yogurt Drink / केशर लस्सी)


Soothing, Creamy and easy to make drink that will surely tickle your tastebuds and quench your thirst.
It's sweet with delightful flavor of kesar (Saffron) and cardamom and most important yogurt has cooling properties which helps cool the body in summer.
I would surely gulp this delicious, chilled, creamy lassi on repeats.
Do try and relish it this summer :)



Ingredients:

500 Grams Plain Yogurt
4-5 Tablespoons Sugar (Adjust according to your liking)
Few Strands of Saffron (Kesar)
1/2 Cup Milk
1 Teaspoon Green Cardamom Powder
Finely Chopped Almonds and Pistachios for garnishing


Procedure:

Soak saffron strands in warm milk for about15-20 minutes.
Give it a mix, you will get bright yellow color.
In a blender, combine yogurt, saffron milk, sugar and cardamom powder and blend until smooth and creamy.



Pour the lassi into the serving glasses.
Garnish it with almonds and pistachios.
Serve Chilled.

मराठी पाककृती:

साहित्यः

५०० ग्राम दही 
४-५ टेबलस्पून्स साखर (आवडीप्रमाणे कमी-जास्तं)
केशराच्या काड्या 
१/२ वाटी दूध 
१ टीस्पून वेलचीपूड 
बदाम-पिस्त्याचे काप सजावटीसाठी

पाकृ:

केशर कोमट दुधात १५-२० मिनिटे भिजवून ठेवावे.
चांगले मिक्स करावे म्हणजे छान केशरी रंग खुलून येईल.
ब्लेंडरमध्ये दही, केशरमिश्रीत दूध, साखर व वेलचीपूड एकत्र करावे व दाट, मुलायम होईतो फिरवून घ्यावे.
सर्व्हिंग ग्लासेसमध्ये ओतून, वरून बदाम-पिस्त्याचे काप घालून सजवावे.
गार सर्व्ह करावे.
