Banana Sultana Loaf


Ingredients:


11/2 cups All purpose flour,

1 cup white sugar,

3 ripe bananas mashed,

1/4 cup butter softened,

1tspn baking soda,

1/2 tspn baking powder,

1 egg,

1/2 cup sultanas,

1 tspn vanilla essence.


Procedure:


Preheat oven to 180 degrees C.

Add sugar to mashed bananas.

Seive flour, baking powder and baking soda together.

In another bowl cream butter and egg and pour this mixture in flour.

Add mashed bananas mixture to flour and mix well , add vanilla essence, sultanas and pour this batter into greased loaf tin.

Bake at 180 degrees C for 40 -50 minutes.

Insert toothpick and check if it comes out clean.

Place on cooling rack.

Dust some icing sugar over it once done.
