Moong daal Kheer/ Payasam



Ingredients:

1 cup roasted Yellow moong daal,

1 cup milk, 2 cups water,

1 cup grated jaggary,

2 tspn sugar,

2tblspn grated coconut,

1 tspn cardamom powder,

1/4 tspn nutmeg powder,

dryfruits for garnishing.



Procedure:


Pressure cook daal with 2 cups of milk and 1 cup of water till daal is cooked.

Add jaggary , coconut, 2 tspn of sugar and stir till it becomes thick and creamy.

Mix cardamom powder, nutmeg powder and garnish with dryfruits.
