Cabbage (Kobichi) Wadi






Ingredients:
2 cups finely chopped cabbage,

1/2 cup gram flour (besan),

1 tspn turmeric powder,

2 tspn red chilli powder,

2 tspn dhaniya powder,

1 tspn jeera powder,

finely chopped coriander leaves,

salt as per taste,

oil for greasing.


Procedure:
Mix all ingredients and add little water to make thick consistency , as we make batter for pakoras.

Batter should not be very runny or very thick.
Grease seperator/container of pressure cooker with little oil and pur mixture in it.

Remove whistle and steam it for 20 minutes.

Now remove from pressure cooker and cool it for sometime.

Now cut into squares.

If you want you can eat steamed wadis with tempering of mustard seeds, sesame seeds and hing.

You can also shallow fry these wadi.

Serve with tomato sauce, tamarind chutney.
