2 cups prawns
2-3 Onions finely chopped
2-3 Garlics finely chopped
2-3 Kokam ("kokum" is a sour tropical fruit, black mango steen)
1-1/2 tspn red chilli powder
1/2 tspn turmeric powder
1-1/4 tspn Garam Masala
Salt as per taste
oil.
Procedure:
Peel and devein prawns and wash them.
Heat oil in frying pan, add onions and garlic.
Saute them nicely and add kokam, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala and salt.
Once onions are cooked in masala add prawns and mix well.
Cover and cook for 8-10 minutes or until prawns are cooked.
Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
Serve with Chapati, Roti.
