Stuffed ChumChum




Ingredients:
1/2 kg home-made paneer,
1 cup sugar,
3 cups water,
1 tspn rose essence,
1 tspn cardamom powder,
2-3 drops of Pink food colour(optional),
2 tblspn powdered sugar

Procedure:

Knead paneer into soft dough and divid it into two portions.
Add pink colour to one portion and knead well.
Make oval shaped roll out of it.





Combine sugar , water, rose essence and bring to boil.
Add little piece of paneer and check if it remains intact add rolls gently into sugar syrup , cover and boil it for 8-10 minutes.
Then turn rolls to other side , cover and boil for another 7-8 minutes.
Cool for a while and take out Chum Chums from syrup.




Now in other bowl add paneer, cardamom powder and powdered sugar and mix well. Microwave it for 30 secs.
Cut Chum Chum into two halves and stuff it with paneer mixture and gently press. Garnish with pistachios.
