Tandoor Pomfret







Ingredients:


2 medium /baby Pomfrets

2 tblspn thick yogurt

1 tblspn ginger+garlic+mint leaves paste

1 tblspn Tandoor Masala

1/2 tspn Garam Masala

1/4 tspn black pepper powder

Salt to taste

Edible red food color(Optional)




Procedure:

Remove tail, fins and head of pomfret and with help of knife make incisions on both sides. Wash and rub in little turmeric powder, lime juice and salt and marinate for sometime.
Mix above ingredients except black pepper powder into yogurt.




Apply this masala paste to pomfrets well.

Grease baking tray and place pomfret. Apply butter/oil and sprinkle black pepper powder over it. Bake in pre-heated oven at 180 degree C for 10-12 minutes.




Once done remove from oven and sprinkle little garam masala and serve with salad.
