(Almond) Badam Burfi / Katli




Ingredients:

1 cup Almonds
3/4-1 cup sugar (Adjust according to your taste)
2 tblspn ghee
1 tspn cardamom powder
1/4 cup milk (add as require)
Edible Silver leaf (Silver warq) (Optional)





Procedure:

Soak 1 cup of  alomonds in hot water for one hour and then peel them.
Grind peeled almonds, sugar and very little milk to fine paste.(Mixture should not be runny, it should be thick enough)
In non-stick pan heat ghee and pour almond mixture.




Stir continously on medium heat until the mixture thickens and starts leaving the sides of the pan.
Now add cardamom powder and remove from heat.



Transfer it into a greased plate and spread evenly.
Let it cool for sometime.




Now place silver warq and cut them into desire shape.
