Caramel Custard Pudding



Ingredients:

3 cups milk
4 eggs
1 cup sugar + 4 tblspn sugar
1-2 tspn vanilla essence


Procedure:

Dissolve 1 cup sugar in the milk and bring to a boil.Cool it for sometime. 

Beat the eggs in a bowl till light and fluffy.

In a pressure cooker vessel / pan add 4 tblspn sugar and 2 tblspn water and make caramel. Let this cool for 8-10 minutes.

Add the beaten eggs and vanilla essence to the milk, mix well and pour into the caramalized vessel/ pan.

Cover the vessel / pan with aluminium foil and place in pressure cooker. Cover with lid and steam for about 20-30 minutes. Don't use the whistle. Remove when done. 


Take the vessel/ pan out and keep it in the fridge for a few hours .

Unmold the custard and serve.
