Ingredients:
11/2 cup Washed, drained Basmati Rice
11/2 cup Washed, de-veined Prawns (Marinate prawns with little salt, turmeric powder and lemon juice)
3 cups Coconut Milk
2-3 tblspn Ginger+Garlic+Green Chiilies+ Mint paste
1 tblspn Red Chilli Powder
1/2 tblspn Garam Masala
1/2 tblspn Coriander Powder
1/2 tspn Turmeric Powder
Salt to taste
1 tspn Shahijeera (Caraway Seeds)
4-5 Cloves
2-3 Cinnamon
2-3 Bay Leaves
2-3 Green Cardamom
Oil
Procedure:
Heat oil in hard-bottom vessel and add shahijeera and whole spices.
Once all spices starts spluttering add Ginger+Garlic+Green Chiilies+ Mint paste.
Now add marinated prawns and mix well.
Add all ground spices and stir well.
Add drained basmati rice and mix gently.
Add 3 cups of coconut milk to it.(It gives nice flavour to pulav)
Other option is you can add 2 cups coconut milk+1 cup water.
Bring it Boil and then cover and cook on slow heat.
Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.
