Chicken Tandoori (चिकन तंदुरी)


Ingredients:

500 grams Chicken drumsticks and thighs cleaned and washed
3-4 Tblspn Yogurt
2-3 Garlic Cloves
1 Inch Ginger
2 Tblspn Fresh Coriander leaves
2 Tblspn Mint leaves
2 Tblspn Tandoori Masala
1-1/2 Tblspn Kashmiri Red Chili Powder (For Color)
1/2 Tspn Black Pepper Powder
1 Tspn Garam Masala
 Salt To Taste



Procedure:

Grind coriander leaves, mint leaves, ginger and garlic together to make paste.
Marinate Chicken pieces with yogurt, tandoori masala, kashmiri chili powder, black pepper powder, garam masala, salt and green paste.




Mix well and keep refrigerated over-night.



Pre-heat oven at 200 Degree C .
Place chicken drumsticks and thighs on baking tray lined with baking paper.
Brush little butter or oil and bake for 15 minutes.
Turn on other side and bake for another 15 minutes.



To give chicken pieces smoked flavour, hold chicken pieces in tongs and roast on gas-flame for a minute.




Serve Chicken Tandoori with Salad.

साहित्य:

५०० ग्राम चिकन 
३-४ टेस्पून दही
२-३ लसूण पाकळ्या
१ इंच आले
२ टेस्पून कोथींबीर
२ टेस्पून पुदिन्याची पाने
२ टेस्पून तंदुरी मसाला
रंगासाठी दीड टेस्पून काश्मिरी लाल मिरची पावडर
१/२ टीस्पून काळिमिरीपूड
१ टेस्पून गरम मसाला
मीठ चवीनुसार

पाकृ:

आले, लसूण, कोथींबीर व पुदिना एकत्र वाटुन पेस्ट करुन घेणे.
चिकनला दही, तंदुरी मसाला, काश्मिरी लाल मिरची पावडर, काळिमिरीपूड, गरम मसाला, मीठ व हिरवी पेस्ट लावून मॅरीनेट करावे. रात्रभर फ्रिजमध्ये ठेवावे.
बेकिंग ट्रेला ग्रीज करुन घेणे किंवा बेकिंग पेपर लावावा. त्यावे मॅरीनेट केलेले चिकन पीसेस ठेवावे.
थोडेसे बटर सोडून २०० डिग्रीवर प्री-हीट केलेल्या ओव्हनमध्ये १५ मिनिटे भाजावे.
मधे एकदा उलटवून पुन्हा १५ मिनिटे भाजावे.
स्मोक्ड फ्लेव्हर देण्यासाठी चिमट्यात चिकन पीस धरुन गॅसच्या शेगडीवर धरुन १ मिनिटे भाजावे.
सॅलॅडसोबत सर्व्ह करावे.

  7. Mouthwatering tandoori chicken and delicious clicks! I never thought of roasting the chicken on the stove top. Good tip to get a smokey flavor. I always use the broiler but will try this tip next time.
