Ingredients:
1 Cup Cracked Wheat (Dalia)
1 Cup grated Jaggary (You can adjust amount according to your taste)
1 Cup Milk
1 Cup Water
1/2 Cup Grated Fresh Coconut (You can adjust amount according to your taste)
2-3 Tblspn Clarified Butter (Pure Ghee)
Cashewnuts, Sultanas and Slivered Almonds
1/2 Tspn Green Cardamom Powder
Procedure:
Heat 2-3 tblspn of clarified butter in a pan and roast cracked wheat on low heat.
Roast till nice aroma starts coming and cracked wheat turns pinkish-golden in color.
In other bowl combine milk and water together.
Add roasted cracked wheat into it and pressure cook this until 3-4 whistles.
Let the pressure settle. Now take cooked cracked wheat in a pan and mix jaggary .
Cook on low heat till jaggary melts completely.
Add dry-fruits and grated fresh coconut and mix well. Stir continously as it tends to burn because of jaggary.
Now add green cardamom powder and give it a quick mix.
Serve hot this delicious sheera with love :)
