Ingredients:
3 Cups of Raw Rice soaked overnight with 1/2 Tspn of Fenugreek (Methi) Seeds
1 Cups of Urad Dal Soaked Overnight
Using a little water in which the rice is soaked, grind soaked rice, fenugreek seeds and urad dal to a fine paste.
Add water as needed to make the pancake (Dosa) batter.
But do not make it too watery.
Cover and Keep in warm place to ferment for 6-8 hours or overnight.
1 Onion Finely Chopped
Few Sprigs of Coriander Leaves Finely Chopped
2-3 Green Chillies Fibely chopped
1 Tblspn Cumin Seeds
Salt as per taste
Oil
Procedure:
Add Salt to the fermented batter and mix well.
Heat non-stick pan and pour ladleful of batter onto the hot pan.
Spread slightly , Uttappa should nor be thin like dosa.
Sprinkle some onion, chopped green chillies, cumin seeds and coriander leaves on the top.
Drizzle little oil around the Uttappa and cook.
Flip over and cook from other side as well.
Serve hot with Coconut Chutney.

१ वाटी उडदाची डाळ धुवून रात्रभर भिजवणे
दुसर्या दिवशी एकत्र करुन डोश्याच्या पीठाप्रमाणे वाटणे व ६-८ तासांसाठी उबेच्या जागी पिठ आंबवण्यासाठी ठेवावे.
१ कांदा बारीक चिरलेला
कोथींबीर बारीक चिरलेली
२-३ हिरव्या मिरच्या बारीक चिरलेल्या
१ टेस्पून जीरे
मीठ चवीनुसार
तेल
पाकृ:
तयार पिठात चवीनुसार मीठ घालून चांगले मिक्स करुन घेणे.
नॉन-स्टीक तवा तापवून त्यावर डावभर मिश्रण ओतावे.
हलकेच पसरवावे, डोश्याप्रमाणे पातळ पसरवू नये.
त्यावर कांदा, मिरची, जीरे व कोथींबीर घालावी.
कडेने थोडे तेल सोडावे व शिजु द्यावे.
एका बाजून शिजले की उलटवून दुसरी बाजू शिजवून घ्यावी.
तयार उत्तप्पा नारळाच्या चटणी बरोबर सर्व्ह करावा.
