Ingredients:
1 Cup Maida (All Purpose Flour)
1/4 Cup Oil
1 Tspn Kalaunji (Onion Seeds)
1 Tspn Coarse ground Black Pepper
Salt as per taste
Procedure:
In a mixing bowl, combine flour, kalaunji, salt, black pepper powder and hot oil.
Mix well and knead firm dough adding little water at a time.
Cover and keep for an hour.
Pinch a small piece of dough and roll it into a ball .
Flatten it into a disc and roll it out into a small circle .
Now, make parallel cuts in this disc making sure that the ends are not separated.
Now, roll the disc and twist the disc at both ends getting shape of a "flower bud".

Heat oil in frying pan and deep fry Champakali on low heat until golden-brown.
Store in an air-tight container.

साहित्यः
१ वाटी मैदा
१/४ वाटी तेल

१ टीस्पून कुटलेली काळीमिरी
मीठ चवीप्रमाणे
मैदा चांगला मळून घ्यावा व त्याचे छोटे-छोटे गोळे तयार करुन घ्यावे.गोळ्याची पातळ पुरी लाटावी व त्यावर कातण्याने किंवा सुरीने कडेला न लावता चिर्या पाडाव्यात.अलगद पुरी दोन्ही बाजूंची टोके धरून गंडाळून घ्यावी व हलकी पिळून घ्यावी.
कढईत तेल गरम करायला ठेवावे.तेलात हलके सोडून तांबूस रंगावर तळावी.पूर्ण गार झाल्यावर हवाबंद डब्यात भरुन ठेवावे.
